Mojo Monday 183 & CR84FN20

Last night, the kids and I watched the BBC series Life narrated by David Attenborough.  These are the same people who produced Planet Earth and the Blue Planet. The cinematography is breathtaking and the curious animal behaviors amazing to watch and learn. Though I do have to say that Teia was traumatized when the penguin was eaten by the leopard seal. I then had to explain the whole cycle of life and food chain concept to her. Next time, I will watch the video first before showing my 4 year old…bad momma...

Oh-kay and with that being said, here's my card! I made this to enter two challenges: Mojo Monday 183 and the CR84FN color challenge: CR84FN20. 

The focal image is from PTI's Year of Flower: Gladiolus, stamped on Smokey Shadow cardstock with white ink and then colored in with Prismacolor pencils and Atyou spica pens. The center was filled in with Liquid Pearls. Sentiment is from Delightful Dahlia and the little flourish is from Calendar Basics. The ribbon  looks pink but it's actually PTI's Lavendar Moon. Designer paper from SU!

    We watched that too! (and I was traumatized by the penguin being eaten too- Eek!)

    Life is an excellent series! I'm totally lovin' the gladiolus stamped on smokey shadow paper - wow! The white ink and penciling look soft and beautiful.
