Chicago - Good Times

Did I tell you that between Maria and I, we took over 500 pictures? Thank goodness for 8GB SD cards! Besides pictures of buildings, foods, and other people, we have a lot of pictures of us being goofy or just plain ole' having a good time.

 Maria and I at the Chicago Art Institute. We were taking a little break from seeing all the paintings. I {heart} this picture. Can we say happy, relaxed mamas who haven't heard the sound of crying, fighting children in the past 2 days?

Having a drink at the Signature Lounge. I won't tell you how much this overpriced, bland, didn't-even-get-a-buzz cocktail cost. The only thing that mattered was how Sex-in-the-City we felt. Sipping cosmos at the bar! Just call me Carrie.

This is what happens when Hawaii tourists go to the mainland. We start trying to hug everything in sight.

Trying to be sexy. I know, I know, I would have totally nailed it if only I had taken my over-the-shoulder bag off. {Sigh} I'll remember that the next time Im in Chicago. {Sigh}

Isn't it amazing how relaxed you can be when you're tanked?  Good thing I was in charge of the camera at this point. ; )

I love this picture too. Look at our big smiles! Don't mind the shiny spot on my forehead. I forgot to reapply powder before we took this pic. See, if Treslyn had come on the trip with us, she would have reminded us. So Treslyn's still a loser in my book. She can only make up for this by not bailing on our next trip.

It's been fun sharing the trip and reliving all the good times we had. I know that I'll never get around to actually printing out these pictures so I'll have to never-ever delete this blog.
