I must confess that Im a hoarder. Especially of my patterned paper. I hate the thought of cutting into a full size sheet of it. Im always waiting for the perfect project to come around so that way Im not wasting my paper. Never mind that I have three drawers full of the stuff along with countless pads from PTI, Basic Grey, and Pink Paislee. I just don't want to USE it. And let's not even talk about scraps. I hoard them all!! Cuz you just never know…
So Im breaking free of my ACD (anal-compulsive disorder) and sharing a couple of projects I did using my stash. I did it for the greater good and to free my soul and for the Papertrey Pals pallenge that Im hosting this week.
This first project is an altered composition book I covered using Dark Chocolate cardstock and my favorite pp ever: Daisy Bucket Designs Playful Petal. I also included a stamped panel using Lisa Johnson's Life set and felt butterflies.
Supplies used -
Stamps: Life
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Inks
Paper: CS-Dark Chocolate; PP-Daisy Bucket Designs Playful Petals
Other Stuff: Dark Chocolate Felt, Pearls, New Leaf Bitty Dot Satin Ribbon
This next one is using pp from Pink Paislee's Queen Bee line. The layout and design is one I CASE'd from their blog but I added the stamped panel from Damask Design and Vintage Labels. I love the yellow and gray color scheme.
Supplies used -
Stamps: Damask Design, Vintage Labels, Mega Mixed Messages
Ink: True Black, Versamark
Paper: CS-Stamper's Select; PP-Pink Paislee Queen Bee line
Other Stuff: White Embossing Powder, SU! Vintage Brads, Black Rhinestones, Pearls, Black Stickles
I'll be posting more projects at a later time using more of patterned paper. Even though it's painful, I'll take one for the team. ;P
