Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz

Today is the blog waltz for Waltzingmouse Stamps. We're celebrating WM's 1st birthday and Im happy to be able to participate!
Did you know Im part Asian (actually half-Vietnamese) and I don't have any asian stamps? I know, terrible! It wasn't until I saw this set, Asian Gardens, that I knew I found the right one…all the way from Ireland, lol!!
I started by stamping the large background stamp across my white card base and then embossing the tree in gold on black cs. I also embossed the flower image in gold on red cs. Stamped the sentiment in the top left corner. I then found a black button with a large center opening and threaded the ribbon through. Sat back and thought it needed something else red (so that I follow the design rule of three). Added the little flower in red to the sentiment.  Sat back again and thought now I need something else gold so I tied a little gold cord to a small flower button and placed that on top of the other button. Whew now Im done!!
Happy Birthday Waltzingmouse Stamps and a huge congratulations to Claire Brennan for designing such wonderfully elegant stamps that calls out to me from two oceans away.  Can't wait to participate in next years blog waltz!
