Curiosity - Scrapbook Layout

Hi everyone out there in blogland! I know I've been MIA for awhile... Im still crafting but haven't felt very blog-ey lately.  But I just had to share this digital layout I did of Teia at the Honolulu Foster Botannical Garden.

Today we went to the Foster Botannical Garden and came to a field covered in white fluff. I knew the "fluff" was from the pods of the Silk Cotton Tree standing tall in the middle of the field. You told me it was Apollo's hair. This made me laugh so hard! Indeed it did look exactly like the rolling tumbleweeds that happens in our own home. We spent the rest of the time exploring the seed pods and letting the wind blow the white wispy cotton even further away. The delight in your face, the concentration in your entire being, and the wonder of watching nature unfold was precious to see. Delight in life, my little one. I am happy to be here to enjoy it with you.

I recently returned from a vacation to California seeing Napa Valley and San Francisco with a couple of my girlfriends. I've got some fun photos to share...I just need to find the time to organize my thoughts! Work has been crazy and the kids are home for summer break and bored already. Back to reality for me!

  1. Nadine, the scrapbook page is just so adorable - of course your cutie daughter takes center stage.

Hope you had a great time in California.

  3. What a lovely layout! We've been missing you on the PTI forum! I know I'm a fine one to talk since I was MIA for a few months--but now that I'm back there, I want all my friends there, too, LOL. Happy 4th to you!

  4. I never heard of that Botannical garden. I will have to visit there next time in Honolulu. I'm in California and will be visiting Napa at the end of the month. I hope your trip here was grand! Glad you are back.
