Banyan Tree - Scrapbooking Layout

Im taking a break today from posting pictures of the CA trip.  Instead I thought I'd show you this layout I did of the kids.

After reading the book , Grandpa's Magic Banyan Tree by Jeff Langcaon, we just had to find our very own banyan tree to explore. I didn't know of any in our area so we tried the Honolulu Botannical Gardens. We were disappointed to learn that their tree had been cut down 5 years ago due to disease. But they told us to try the zoo and there were two right  by the front entrance. Jacob was up the trunk in a flash. Teia was mad being stuck at the bottom but once she started exploring  she  found leaves to take home for her Explorations binder. We found the Magic Banyan Tree and it was an enjoyable day!
