Happy Birthday Merry!

Today the good folks from the PTI forum are doing a surprise blog hop for Merry's birthday. It's a pleasure to create a card for a such a sweet, lovely person.  I needed the motivation to get crafty and make a card again. It's definitely been too long!


I wanted this to be a bright, happy card and chose colors that I normally wouldn't pick. Summer Sunrise bitty box pp, Havrest Gold for the Mat Stack 3 die, White, Lemon Tart, and Orange Zest for the flower (Terracotta Tile button), Simply Chartreuse for the leaves, New Leaf for the ribbon.  I usually go for darker, more earthy tones but this colorful card brings a smile to my face. Hope it brings one to Merry's also!
