PTI April Blog Hop

This month's challenge for the PTI Blog Hop was to use tissue paper in your project.  I just want to say that working with tissue is a pain!! It just doesn't bend and fold like cardstock.  I had a couple of ideas for cards but they just didn't work out so this is what I came up:
This is a wine bottle that I wrapped in tissue paper. I first stamped the gold tissue with Fancy Flourishes and then created the pom-pom top by wrapping a cord around the neck of the bottle and then cutting the top into strips.  I then created a tag by embossing the scrolly-circle from Round & Round onto my Label 8 die cut. The sentiment "For a Gracious Hostess" is from Mega Mixed Messages.  I like the scrolly "H" in this sentiment and that's why I chose it.  I thought it matched the style of the entire project.  I don't usually give hostess gifts because whenever there's a get together we usually do it potluck style. :o)

My daughter and I went to Koolina beach this morning and I just had to share this picture with you guys. It was a beautiful day here in the islands. :o)

Supplies used -
Stamps: Fancy Flourishes, Round & Round, Mega Mixed Messages
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Versamark
Paper: Gold Tissue Paper; CS- Dark Chocolate
Other Stuff: Vintage Cream Satin Ribbon, Gold Cord, White & Gold Embossing Powder
