CAS Sympathy cards

TGIF! This morning we woke up to a spectacular lightning show happening over the island and HAIL!! Ok no hail where Im at but on the other side of the island they're having hail the size of golf balls! I wonder what the rest of the weekend holds for us weather-wise…probably lots of rain and wind. This is a good time to stay inside and get crafty, lol!

I wanted to share a couple of sympathy card I made when my PTI buddy Sara, came to the island a couple of weeks ago for her grandfather's funeral. While it was a sad occasion for her visit, Im glad that we were able to meet for a quick get together.

I made her a similar card to this but I used a blue-grey (Ocean Tides) color instead. I think this card would be appropriate to give a guy. It uses a very light grey color (hard to tell from the picture but it's not white) called Soft Stone and a dark grey color called Smokey Shadow. All colors from PTI.

Here's another card using the same sketch and colors but a different image:

Im entering this card into the following challenge:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Supplies -
Stamps: Flourishes Orchids, WMS Asian Gardens, PTI Through the Trees
Paper: PTI - Soft Stone, Smokey Shadow
Ink: Versafine Smokey Gray
Other Stuff: PTI Soft Stone Bitty Dots Satin Ribbon
