Sister Stamps Reveal: Miyako!

When Jenny from Sister Stamps asked if I would like to be a Guest Designer for the January release I almost fainted.
Yes. Tough gal like me, almost keeled right over from the shock.
As soon as I picked myself off the floor and said yes of course, why thank you for asking ME, I immediately called all my friends (all two of them) and bragged shared the good news.  Jenny wants ME to be part of the release!!

I love, love the entire line from Sister Stamps and Im so happy to share this release with all of you. For my first project I used Miyako. How adorable is she holding up the heart? I decided to make a tag to go with my treat holder made out of pp and acetate. Inside are heart tins filled with treats.

Here's a close up of the tag. Isn't Miyako such a cutie? I loved coloring her, especially her hair. Except that my Copic C7 ran out of ink and I had to make a special trip into town to get more cuz the stores nearby didn't have any. Who knew C7 was such a precious commodity on the island, lol?

I also made a card to go along with the treat holder and tag:

This time I added red Stickles for a bold glittery effect to the heart and matted the image on a red doily to make it pop. Sentiment is from PTI's Tiny Tags set.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my project. Make sure to stop by tomorrow, when I'll be posting another project using Keitaro. For a chance to win your very own stamps from this release, be sure to head on over to the Sister Stamps blog! And for more great samples, be sure to check out Debi's blog.
