Happy New Years

Whew!! It's been awhile since I updated the blog but I wanted to wish everyone a happy New Years! I hope that you were able to ring in the new year surrounded by your loved ones and that you didn't fall asleep at 9:30pm on New Year's Eve (like I did).

The kids and I spent the last day of 2011 on the beach watching the sun go down.

Back home, I fell asleep early with Teia and woke up at 12:01am because of all the fireworks that were being set off in my area (this was the year that fireworks were supposed to be banned, yeah right!). The noise was incredible and the entire sky behind my house was lit up with aerials. I guess the ban didn't really change how the New Year was celebrated on the island!

Once the holiday rush was over, I had time to make a card using my new stamp set Orchids from Flourishes. 

Happy 2012 and make it a good one!!!
