Happy WCMD!

For all my crafty friends out there, I know you know that today is Happy World Cardmaking Day. For all those that didn't know, it's the reason you just may get a handmade Christmas card from me this year. ; )

The first Saturday in October is the official start of the holiday cardmaking season. And this year Im definitely all about getting a head start making my Christmas cards before the season rush.

I tried to make this card as flat as possible for mailing. So no ribbons, bows, or bulky embellishments. My new Photo Finish Strip dies from PTI certainly helps to keep it flat. Love them! Patterned paper is from GCD. The holly dies are from PTI Holly Jolly collection.

Im entering this card into The Outlawz Saturday Paper A La Mode challenge for anything goes. And if you get a chance you can check out their 1000 Member Party for giveaways, contests, and challenges happening from Oct 3rd to Oct 9th. Lots os sponsors and prizes. Im keeping my fingers crossed for the $100 gift certificate from Oozaks. I swore I wouldn't buy anymore Copics but I do need more browns… ; )

Thanks for stopping by!
