SEI Moonrise - Gorjuss

Happy Saturday everyone! Any big plans this weekend? My son and I will be attending an orientation at his new school this morning and then we'll be spending the day with my brother. Later this evening, I've got a date with my best friend Maria. Dinner and then perhaps a night out on the town. Woohoo! An excuse to get all "dolled" up!

Here's a card I made with my new SEI Moonrise 6x6 paper pad. I love how elegant the yellow, browns, green and gold are. When taking this picture, I purposely angled the card so the gold foil of the patterned paper would be captured. The focal image is a Gorjuss girl stamp (yes, I have quite a collection now!) and I paper pieced the dress. Distressed all the edges and added some rhinestones. No sentiments added yet…I'll wait for the perfect occasion to give it to someone special. ; )
