Thanksgiving Favors

Happy Thanksgiving to all my US friends and a happy Thursday to all my international friends! Today the kids and I are going to my friend's house for dinner and afterwards the momma's are planning on doing some online shopping - there are some great deals out there!

I've made a little treat box using PTI's Favor It Box 2 and filled it with some mint chocolate.  The box has been stamped with the leaf images from Waltzingmouse's Big Blooms-Chrysathemums set. It's kinda hard to tell but I actually stamped the leaves with acrylic paint. It's a great way to stamp an image that will show up against the Dark Chocolate cardstock. So I had a lot of fun being a 'painter' on this project!

I made quite a few using different colored tags and ribbons. Having the box die makes this really simple to assemble!

I thought I would take this time to list a few things that I am thankful for on this day:
For Jacob - whose bright, happy smile and cheerful attitude makes me glad to be his momma while making me sigh in exasperation when I have to scold him once again for not putting his clothes INSIDE the laundry basket
For Teia - who's a big girl of four but STILL sucks her thumb while twirling my hair through her fingers. And thinks it's so funny when I try to make her stop.
For my family - who still love me in spite of me. 
For my friends - Morning Tea. Crafty get togethers. Daily phone calls. Lunch dates. Keeping me sane. Keeping it real.
This papercrafting hobby - for giving me a creative outlet to express myself, for meeting people from all over the world, and for being able to suck all my girlfriends into this obsession with me.
