When your heart aches...

This journal was made for a friends' neighbor who is going through chemotherapy now. She doesn't know who I am but when I heard the news it made my heart ache.  I wanted to do something to let her know that she was in my thoughts. So I made this journal for her and put my whole heart in it. The focal piece on the cover is one of my favorite quotes:

The best and most beautiful things in the world
cannot be seen or even touched.
They must be felt with the heart.
Helen Keller

I hope that she will be able to find this useful. I know that when my husband, Steven, was going through chemo he appreciated anything that took his mind off of the procedure. We always had my daughter Teia with us who was about 12 months old at the time. She started walking during one of his chemo sessions and I can't tell you how proud he was! I also can't tell you how sad I felt. It was a bittersweet moment.
