Today is my other friend, Rachel's birthday. She's 29 too! Yes, all my friends are the same age as me, amazing isn't it?!?
This card was inspired (CASE'd) from the fabulous Laurie. I love her style and her card designs are awesome. If you haven't checked out her blog before, I would definitely take some time for a browse. Lots of eye candy to see. If you are a PFF (Papertrey Forum Friend) then I know you've seen her work before.
This is the teacup from PTI's Tea for Two Additions, stamped in Melon Berry. The background is stamped with the large leaf image from Beautiful Blooms. I double stamped the image first in Fresh Snow and then again in Ripe Avocado. Got the idea from another fabulous stamper, Sara, who gave me a beautiful card at CHA. Im beyond touched that she was so thoughtful to make it for me.
Well a great big happy birthday to Rachel! Rachel is a new mommy again and quite busy with three little ones. I hope she's able to find a bit of quiet time for herself and relax with a cup of tea.
your card is gorgeous...and i agree, laurie does beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Nadine! I love the colors. That gorgeous satin bow just steals the show. What timing, I just posted the card I made for you on my blog:) I haven't even sat down to stamp since CHA. Shame on me.

Love the card. As a tea drinker, Tea for Two and Additions are 2 of my favorite sets. I'm always looking for cards to CASE using those sets.
ReplyDeleteI really want that tea for two set. I think your card is so cute. I don't know why I always used to think of a tea cup as a kind of get well image. It works so nicely for a birthday on your card too!
