Blog Giveaway - PTI's CHA set

Today I thought I'd take a break from posting pictures of my Chicago trip (just scroll down to see them) by doing a giveaway here on my blog. Im giving away PTI's exclusive CHA stamp set called Four of a Kind. It was given to those who attended CHA and purchased $100 worth of their products. (Go here if you'd like to see pictures of my meeting with Nichole & crew.)

One of the best things about having a blog are the people who come and visit me. For your chance to win this set you just need to answer the following questions: Where are you from? What do you like best about living there?
Some guidelines:
Leave a comment below and I will do a random drawing for the winner. The last day to enter is a week from now: Saturday, August 21, 2010. This is open to everyone (international readers also). If you already have the CHA set and your name is drawn then I will replace it with a $25 PTI gift certificate. Just let me know in your comments that you already own the set. I will then choose another random winner for the CHA set.

So you may be asking yourself why am I doing this? It's because of my brother, Dave, who secretly believes that Im a geek. Oh he doesn't come right out and say it but I know that's what he's thinking. He's very unimpressed with my crafting skills and that I have a blog. So help a gal out, and leave a comment. Then one day I'll casually bring this post up, point to the number of comments, and say "See Dave, they like me, they really like me!" Never mind that Im bribing you all to come and visit me. ;o>

  1. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win, Nadine!

I am from Southern California, I've lived here my entire life and I never want to leave. My favorite thing about living here is the fact that it stays pretty warm all year round & there's so much to do in So Cal. I love knowing that the beach & amusement parks are just a little drive away.

Thanks again for the chance to win, I really really want this set!

  2. I'm loving all the Chicago pics, Nadine! I'm from a small town just outside Columbus, Ohio. I love where I live because I get the great country and am a half hour from fabulous shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. We've got some great sports, too!

  3. Aw, Nadine, you are such a sweetheart!! Thank you for having such delicious blog candy, you will make someone VERY happy with that CHA stamp set! I am from San Diego (actually, the suburbs) and what I like about living here is the weather, the easy proximity of beach, mountains, and desert, and that most every store seems to have an outlet somewhere here! :-D

PS. Dear Dave, your sister is really cool!

  4. LOL! I'm from Northern California - South Bay. I love it that the beach is 30 minutes away, great hiking in the woods is less than an hour away, while we still have all the convinenance of city living, and we don't get snow or suffer from massive bug issues!

  5. thanks for offering this. It is a fabulous prize!

I grew up in Nashville TN and still just outside of Nashville now. I love it here because of the people. Everybody is friendly and caring.

  6. Wow! What greet blog candy. Don't worry about the geek thing. I'm a geek, too, and I say your brother is just a hater! :)

I live in Mount Juliet, TN (just outside Nashville) and I love it. It doesn't have great weather like San Diego (my 2nd favorite city) or great food and shopping (like Chicago where my family is and my 3rd favorite city), but we do have really wonderful people in a growing community. It's just the right size for us, large lots for most homes, little traffic (compared to large cities), and quiet country summer nights. :)

  7. Yes Dave, we really do LOVE her and her work!!! You are so talented Nadine!!!

I live in Minnesota, born and raised here. Fall is my very favorite season, I love the beauty of the change of the seasons!!! Winter not so much though!

If by chance my name is picked, pick someone else since I already have this set Nadine!! :)

  8. Such a generous giveaway! CHA in Chicago looks like it was a great time. Thanks for the opportunity!

I live in a small town just west of Des Moines, IA. I LOVE living in the Midwest--it's just a great place to raise a family. And I also love getting to experience all 4 seasons. Just wish winter didn't last as long.

  9. Nadine, he must be a younger brother. LOL

The best thing about living in Southern Ontario is a toss-up between the people (Canadians rock on & off the ice), the incredible seasons, and being close to a world class city like Toronto. Although, I wouldn't mind being in Hawaii for a few weeks each winter.

Thanks for the chance to win the CHA set!

  10. OMG--what wonderful blog candy!!! I so enjoyed looking at your CHA pictures. I went to the winter one in California--and had a wonderful time! My husband had already booked a family vacation so I had to miss this one. Thanks for sharing your memories with us! I live in Northern Kentucky--only five minutes from Cincinnati, Ohio. The best thing is that I live in a small city but have all of the conveniences of a large city close by! We have rolling hills, four different seasons, and it is really a pretty area.

  11. Nadine,
We would really like you even if you didn't give away blog candy! I'm in Southern PA - I like it that we are a half hour from Gettysburg and that we live in the chip/pretzel capitol. We are also very close to the Maryland line - about 5 minutes away.
You are so sweet and generous!
    Sandy

  12. Hi, Nadine!
I've been visiting your blog and enjoying all your PTI projects and CHA pictures.

I'm from Central North Carolina, and love that I am a couple of hours from the beach and a couple of hours from the mountains. I live in a fairly rural place, but I can get to a major town in about thirty to forty minutes. It's no Hawaii or anything, but I love it!

Thanks for the chance to win!

  13. what an amazing giveaway, thanks for he chance to win it, nadine

  14. This is so generous, Nadine! Does this mean you spent 200 $ there? Sigh. I wish I were able to meet all the PTI gals! Thanks for sharing your photos, you made me smile big when I read the post about meeting Nichole and the team!
I live in Germany and I love about it that we do have four seasons. Summer is my favorite and I sometimes think it would be nice to live somewhere else where there is summer all the time, but I couldn't imagine a life without the changing of nature. Or celebrating Christmas in summer...
    Hugs,
    Vanessa x

  16. This is very sweet of you! I enjoyed viewing all of your CHA pics...looks like you had a great time!

I have lived in CT all my life. I absolutely love the changing seasons. I think my favorite season is fall...the colors, cool/dry weather...I got married on October 17th (1992) for exactly these reasons. I also love winter immediately after a snowstorm...the trees look beautiful, the falling snowflakes soothe me. I already visit your blog often. Thanks again, Karen L.

Hmm, well I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I've lived in London, a couple of cities in India & in Victoria, Australia, but Auckland has always been home. Great people, temperate climate and wonderful beaches a few minutes from where I live :)

  22. I live in suburban Houston. And the thing I like best about it is cowboy butts in tight Levi's. The thing I like least is hurricanes. Thanks for the opportunity.

  23. You do NOT need us to prove to your brother that you are talented! You rock all on your own Nadine!
I'm from upstate NY and I love our forests the most. Miles and miles of hardwood trees and tracts of nature please my eye and soothes my soul.

  24. I'm drooling over all of your wonderful CHA pics right now. Looks like you had an incredible time in Chicago! I live in Iowa. I happen to love right where we live because some of my favorite things are close by (a couple of blocks so an easy walk) - a great library, an Aquatics park that both of my kids lifeguard at, a pretty pond complete with ducks & a gorgeous garden area. What I don't like at all about the Midwest is the winter (and I'm originally from here!). Hate every part of winter!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Wow Nadine, what an awesome prize! Thanks for being so generous! I wish I could of made it to CHA. My hometown is Milwaukee, but I currently live in Virginia Beach, VA. My husband is retired military and we were stationed here in Norfolk for his entire 20 year career. I always enjoy reading your comments on the PTI forum and am glad I came here to see your blog. You look like you had an awesome time in Chicago. Thanks for sharing your pics. Love your card samples too!

  26. Tell Dave we love you, we really love you! Nadine you're so talented, sweet and fun!! I live in Ohio along the Ohio River. What I like best about here is that it is home. Our parents and grandparents are nearby. I also like that even though this is a really small town we aren't far from Pittsburgh and all that it has to offer. Thanks for a chance to win the CHA set!

    ReplyDelete
  27. We DO love you, Nadine, even before your generous offer!

I'm from Florida, and what I love best there is Jan and Feb, when it's 60s and sunny. For this summer, we are in Washington state, and what I love best here is that the summer is 60s and sunny. Yes, I'm tired of being hot! I also love the beautiful Puget Sound--so pretty!

  31. It's SO generous of you to give away a CHA set Nadine (but it doesn't surprise me ;) I'm from PA. I live in farm country, among the Amish and Mennonites, and what I love best about here is that it's a great place to raise kids. We feel safe here (as safe as you can feel anywhere these days). The pace is slow, which we love. I love it when I hear a horse and buggy clipity clop down my street, and I love that my local grocery store has a stable in their parking lot for the horses :) This is truly a great place to live!

  32. Haha Nadine, no worries -- we love you without the bribe you know! :) Love your bright cheery card and I already have an anniversary set but I did want to let you know I love your fun bright card!

  33. We deifinitely like you with or without a giveaway!! I live in NJ and although the winters are bit too much for me sometimes, this area has a lot of advantages. There are so many beautiful places to hike. You could be in a huge city or at the beach within the same amount of time!
Thanks again for the opportunity to get our hands on this set:)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Nadine - thanks so much for the generous blog candy!!!! I'm so jealous that you got to go to CHA!!!

Ok so to answer your question. I live in Merriam, KS a suburb of Kansas City. I really like living here because the people are so great and we live two blocks from my in-laws and my DH brother moved in down the street a couple of years ago. This is nice since my family is scattered. (I'm originally from Colorado Springs, CO and dooooooo miss the mountains and snow!)

    ReplyDelete
  35. I live in Iowa. I love the friendly people, being close to family and the changing seasons (although winter seems to go on and on...). My favorite time of year is fall and watching the combines harvesting in the fields.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Great idea for a give away! I would love the chance to go to CHA someday (and to get the special PTI set). I have been to Chicago though; so much to see and do. It looks like you had a great time on your trip!

I am from rural Iowa. What I like about it here is that I can enjoy small town living, but after a 2 hour drive, I can also enjoy city life and all the shopping/dining/diversity it has to offer.

Thank you for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  37. How sweet of you to offer up this give-away and let your brother know that you're no geekier than the rest of us, haha :P

I'm from Michigan's Upper Peninsula and I love it here, it's a beautiful place and the people are kind and most would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. My family is all from here so this is and will forever be home to me.

    ReplyDelete
  38. You don't need to bribe me to come visit your blog, I check it out about once a week! You're on my "favorites" list!

I am from beautiful Wausau, WI. We just moved here a few months ago and LOVE it! There are 2 beautiful rivers running through town and some gorgeous hills that you can see from just about anywhere in the city limits. It is large enough to have all the stores that we would need, but small enough that everyone you see smiles and says hi. We feel like we finally found our home!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I live in Inwood, WV, about an hour outside of D.C. I love living here because it's so close to the city we can go in anytime we want, but it's far enough away that it's not the city.

This is a great give away, but if my name is picked, please choose someone else. I already have this set from CHA.

  40. Hi Nadine,

This is so sweet of you to give away a CHA set. I love the card that you created with it!

I am from Louisiana, about 40 miles southwest of New Orleans. My favorite thing about living here is that I am surrounded by family. The seafood would normally rate high on my list, but that is currently on shaky grounds with the oil spill!

    ReplyDelete
  41. This is to help you with your comments vs. Dave! ;) I already have the CHA set, so if by chance you choose my winning number, please add one and give it to the person who posts below me! :) Thanks!

So if the random generator picked me, just let it pick another commenter..:)..love ya..

  44. Thanks for the chance to win! I'm hoping that you just went all out at CHA and managed to get teo free sets! LOL!

I live in Colorado Springs, CO! For the second part of your question, I'll just answer this: I live in the beautiful state of CO. We have beautiful views, wonderful weather, crisp mountain air, etc. I honestly wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

What a nice thing to do, Nadine!
I live in Rock Island, Illinois. I like that the whole "Quad-City" area is big enough to have lots of things to do, but yet we are close enough to bigger areas, like Chicago, to get there easily. My family and my roots are here, which is another big plus.

I have the CHA set, so if I win, draw another entry for that.

  46. I live in Northern Virginia and think you blog is great. I'm enjoying all you photos from CHA. Thanks for the chance to win this great set.

  47. I am from Southern California. The thing I like the most about CA is the beautiful warm weather. I have enjoyed your CHA pics and stories.

  48. Wow! Thanks, for the chance to win, Nadine! I'm from Seattle, WA. Born and raised here, and LOVE it! Despite our reputation for rain, we do get gorgeous weather, too. Today is in the 90's and sunny! I love that we have the best of all worlds here, water and mountains!

  49. Nadine, thanks for sharing all your photos of your Chicago trip and the CHA. I've enjoyed every bit of it.

I like in Sacramento, CA and enjoy living here because of the climate and the fact my DH's family is here. Hot in the summer and cold enough in the winter (but not real cold and no snow).

I'd love to win the PTI CHA special set. Thanks for doing the blog candy.

  50. I grew up as an army brat so I don't have a hometown, but I've been in Winston-Salem, NC for nearly 19 years now so I think that counts. I love the beauty here. There are so many trees! :) It's also known as the City of the Arts and there are many cultural things to do here. It's a great place to live! Thanks for the chance to win. :)

  51. Hi Nadine! How generous of you to offer this blog candy to your readers. I live in southern Ontario in Canada. Although the winter months can be tough the summers here are wonderful! It sounds like you had an awesome time in Chicago!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I live in Valparaiso Indiana, What I like best about it here is that it is the closest I have live to my family since leaving Cincinnati 20 years ago. Also only a 45 min. train ride to Chicago!

  53. Hi! This is so sweet of you to give away a set. I live in NYC and was unable to go to CHA because I am a student and I had a summer class. My final was that friday :(

  54. Ha ha Nadine - I love what you've written about your brother! My son is just as scornful of my creations and my blog and is always pointing out grammar and spelling mistakes! I think we should comment on all your posts just to show him!

I live in Wales and love that many people don't even know where it is! :o) Its a beautiful country with its own language and culture - and its not England!

  58. LOL ....... my sister gives me crap all the time. She tells everyone that I got the crafting gene but I love her even though she thinks I am a total nerd. But you know when she needs the goods she does not go to Hallmark and that is all I am going to say about that.

Okay this is a crazy question. I currently live in Glendale NY ...... NYC Queens ..... what do I like about it........ wait let me go have a cocktail and get back to this ....... well I can walk to the BEST CHEESECAKE in the entire world and we can walk to church ...... the most amazing Catholic Church you have ever seen and of course my dear NY Yankees. Oh and I almost forgot how much I love no parking ~~ it is the absolute best when there is wind driven snow and you need groceries for more then one afternoon. Hello Ava eats one bag of groceries a day.

We are moving to Clayton NC in the next few months. What do I love about Clayton ..... well my sister will be there. All the Broadway shows come to the Raleigh area so I will not have to miss that about NYC and I will have a driveway and dishwasher.

Tomorrow we are going to our beach house in Montauk NY ....... I love everything about Montauk~~~ the fish is fresh and the beer is always cold after bodysurfing in the ocean ..... thankfully this year I am not prego so I do not come in like a beached whale and the local news right there to "Capture the Moment" OMG I am cracking myself up right now......

And I grew up in Enterprise Alabama and we are the HOME of the Boll Weevil Monument and I will let you Google that one all on your own when you have a moment~~ because it is a whole other chapter ....

Love ya Nadine and you are so darn sweet to do something this FANTASTIC!!! I know I am not going to win ...... cannot win twice right...... I already found you as a friend :)

    Me ka aloha pumehana

  59. Wow - I'm excited about the chance to win this set! I wasn't able to attend CHA this year. I'm from Virginia and I love living here because it has so much rich history and it has mountains, beaches, meadows and everything in between. Plus I love having all four seasons. It's a great state to live in.

  60. Such a sweet prize from such a sweet person! I don't have a blog, but I enjoy looking at yours and reading your comments and seeing your pictures from CHA! One day I'll get into blogging when I have more time (but I think that will be when I retire in about 30 years!)

I live in a college town in Alabama -- what I like the most about is that this is place that a met my sweet fiance who will be my dear husband exactly 9 months from today!

Thanks so much for the chance to wine such a great prize!!!

  62. Thanks so much for the generous giveaway! I live in Manhattan (New York City). Most people think about the glamorous nightlife and high fashion, but what I like most about living here are the wonderful parks and outdoor spaces we have that let us escape the everyday madness.

  63. This is so sweet of you to do for those that didn't get to CHA this year!
I'm from Florida and the best thing is definately the sunshine! We do have great weather - gotta love that!

I live in Jonesboro, Arkanasas. I love that it has the perfect mix of a smaller city, yet great shopping. Plus I'm only an hour from Memphis, TN. Can't beat it!

  65. Hello and what a great giveaway. Someone tweeted about this and I am so happy that they did. Otherwise, I would have never seen your blog. I live in Florida and what I like best about it is that my entire family is here! And your brother sounds like my brother. Totally unimpressed with crafting. Thinks I am nuts and surely doesn't take the time to even read my blog, even though I set it up to have my posts go directly to his email, ha!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Thanks for all the great CHA pics! It's really fun to see a snapshot of everything that happened there. I'm originally from Iowa even though I don't live there now. I love the rolling hills as well as the flat parts of Iowa. The fields full of crops in the summer are as beautiful as the mountains or the ocean to me.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Dave, we love her and she is great at crafting!
I am currently living in Colorado and will never leave this state. I have lived in the eastern Midwest, the south and the west but CO is my home. I couldn't imaging not waking up to the mountain views and over 300 days of sunshine as well as 3 months of each season. Sorry, if you don't get snow, you haven't had winter.
I already own the CHA set so thank you for a chance to win a PTI GC. Good luck to everyone for a fantastic prize!

  68. You are sweet for doing this giveaway Nadine! Thanks for the chance. :)

I live in Minneapolis, MN, and while I don't like living in the middle of a big city (for school), I do love MN! I think one of the things I like the best are the different seasons; we get them all, and in perfect amounts, IMO!

  70. HAH, shame on Dave! What a fun and generous giveaway! I live near Pittsburgh PA. Since I'm NOT a native Pittsburgher I think I can really appreciate the great character and rich history of this city. From it's Steel Mill roots to the current blend of ethnicities and cultures, it really has a feel unlike any other place. I have my complaints, don't get me wrong... but it's definitely one of a kind! :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. I loved looking at your CHA pics and think you have the most amazing smile! Thanks for the chance to win a set and I think Dave is intimidated by your awesomeness.

I live in Norris, TN which is in East Tennessee. I've never lived anywhere else so I have no comparison. What do I like about living in East TN....hmmm, well, it's very green and hilly (we are called Hillbillys you know)with lots of trees (which is awesome when the leaves start to turn in fall). There are lots of fun activities for the kids nearby like a zoo, swimming, etc. We're in a rural area but live near a large city, which is nice.

I suppose I like everything about living where we do except the humidity and the mosquitoes and I would like more snow. We don't get much snow and what we do get usually doesn't last long.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Well, OF COURSE we like you! We really like you! LOL! You have a wonderful blog and make incredible cards! (There, are you satisfied, Dave?) I live just outside of San Antonio, TX. What I love about living here is the number of sunny days! Cloudy, rainy days are few and far between, which is a wonderful change from my home state of Iowa, where it felt like there were 9 months of cold, grey winter!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hi Nadine!

  75. What a thoughtful idea to want to share a copy of the CHA stamp set. I was so sorry I couldn't make it but from your photos it looks like it was a good time.

I'm from Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. It truly is a beautiful state. I love the four season. The town I live in is in the northern panhandle which is in between Ohio and Pennsylvania. I can travel to all three states within 10 minutes. I live about 30 minutes from Pittsburgh.

Thanks for the opportunity to win such a great prize.

  76. Thanks for offering one of these sets as blog candy! I live in Portland, Oregon. This is such a beautiful, green place. I especially love the spring here. There are flowers everywhere! And the weather, though quite rainy at times, agrees with me quite well. =) Thanks for sharing your creations!

    ReplyDelete
  77. First I have to say that I LOVED your photos and comments about meeting the PTI team at CHA. I totally would have been the same way!! Now on to answering your question...I live in Orlando, FL. I LOVE that the sign on the highway near my house says 22 miles to Disney, even though we only go there maybe once a year now...it's still great to say to all my friends and family back where I grew up in upstate NY. The other thing I love is that I can go play putt putt golf with my hubby the day after Christmas in shorts and a t-shirt (though every once in a while I do miss the snow)! Thanks for a chance to win this set!!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Hi Nadine! I loved seeing all of your pictures from CHA--especially the ones of all the girls with flowers! I am glad you had a great time there. One of these days I'll make it, if my brain can take that much overload...And tell your brother that we all think you are very talented!

  79. Hi! I'm from northwest Minnesota. Why do I love it? Well, no hurricanes or earthquakes. Although we do get our share of tornadoes in the non-winter season and sub-zero temps in the other three seasons. And we are SO thankful that mosquitoes can't live in the winter!! :)

  80. Hi, Nadine! I have lived in Sunny Florida for the last 6 1/2 years. However, I am originally from Chicago. I can whole-heartedly say the thing I like best about living in FL is that there is NO SNOW!!!!! I am truly a warm weather girl at heart!!! Thanks for the chance to win this darling stamp set!

  81. I feel for you Nadine, I have a brother Dave too! LOL! I live in NE Ohio. What don't I love about Ohio? Humidity, and cold winters. But, it's home, and it's close to three of our grown kids.

  82. Oh Nadine! This giveaway is HUGE!! I wanted a CHA set, but the funds just weren't available this year. SO great big THANKS for the opportunity!

I live in Missouri. I moved here 8 years ago after meeting my DH on a blind date while visiting from Texas. While I miss home, I don't miss the heat!! So the best thing I love about where I live is I get four seasons here, so I'm LOVING PTI's release this year!! I've never had the chance to experience 4 seasons before cuz where I'm from there are 2 seasons- hot and hotter!! So I feel blessed to have a variety now.

If I win the set, I will make you something fabulous with it! Wink, wink!

    Thanks again,
    Tree

  83. Nadine - your posts always crack me up! It looks like you had a wonderful time in Chicago at CHA and sight-seeing. How fun. I would have loved to go to the show...and to meet my PFF's. Thanks for giving us a chance to win this set...it's beautiful!

  84. What a generous giveaway!! I like in Kansas and the thing I like most about living here is that it is HOME!! I've lived in Nebraska and Missouri but no place felt like home until I came back to Kansas, where I was born and raised. I love, love the wild Kansas Sunflowers and the open spaces! (I COULD live without the heat, but I love the Spring & Fall temps!!).

Oh & I do already own the CHA set but a PTI GC is ALWAYS the BESTS gift!!

  85. Okay - so I'm writing this, and looking at the clock on my computer to see when the PTI release goes live...so I totally didn't follow the directions. SO unlike me (yeah, right!).

WELL...I'm from Illinois (downstate) and I am currently living in Fort Wayne, IN. What I like most about it...hmmm. I like that it is a very "family-friendly" place to live. We have an AWESOME church. I have lived in several states, and I KNOW that churches, unlike McDonalds, are not alike and on every corner. So, when you have a good one, be thankful for it! I also have to say that I loke living nearby family, and having great friends. There's not a ton to do in FT W, so having family and friends around to hang out with, makes it fun despite the lack of touristy things to do...

Well, the PTI release is HERE. Gotta RUN!

  86. WOW!!!! I'm #86!!!!! OK, I live here In Washington State, WESTERN Washington. I used to live in Eastern Oregon where it is HOT HOT HOT and COLD COLD COLD... as I get older, and today proved it, I no longer LOVE the heat, Washington (Western) is pretty mild. 85* is a "scorcher". I do like living here to be able to drive down the interstate and see Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens. I do however have to say I dont like living in the middle of Disaster waiting to happen, there are 24 active volcanoes and all along the san andres fault line... WOW!!!! 2 years ago we had a MASSIVE Flood, totally rivaled Hurricane Katrina devestation.... UGH!!! I do like living here but DO miss my Eastern Oregon roots, but jobs are here and I am close to Military folks who I TOTALLY love... I miss being in the Military too!!!

Anywho... Your blog is SO much fun to look at so Im gonna close this and go have some "stalkerish" behaviors of my own!!! 8)

  87. What a great opportunity to win this beautiful set. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I love living here because this is such a friendly city. People are warm and caring. The weather is great too, even our winters are mild. There is so much to do...places of interest to visit, lots of restaurants etc. Very cosmopolitan. I definitely don't have this stamp set and would love to add it to my PTI collection. LOL.

  88. Thanks for the chance, Nadine. I live in Sugar Land, Texas (burb of Houston). I like it that we don't have harsh winter, but OMG in the summer it's soooo hot!!

  89. Nadine, your Chicago trip looked like so much fun and I am so happy for you that you did it! What a great treat for a single working mom! It makes me laugh reading your posts and your stalking comments, I can just hear all the giggles and unimportant ramblings...this would be me too...after all PTI can make anyone starstruck! As for the question, I am in Ontario, Canada and we love our changing seasons...especially fall, the leaves are gorgeous colours and the the dears start to walk through are backyard again!

  90. I've been enjoying your CHA pictures and seeing all the PTI forum fans you met. I'm originally from the Chicagoland area. The very area you visited for the show this summer. Just could not get back there this time around. I now live in the foothills of Colorado just north of Colorado Springs. I love the cool mountain air that comes down each evening and the fact that there is hardly any humidity!!! I hated frizzy hair back in the Midwest! Love reading your blog and comments at the PTI forum.

  91. Nadine your so FUNNY!! We do LOVE you.. you tell Dave that! :)

  93. Hey Nadine. I already have the CHA set courtesy of my most awesome proxy shopper. I thought I'd leave a comment anyway since I saw that you're almost up to 100 comments. I'm from Southern California. Love it here because my whole family is here. And if I need to get away from them, Hawaii is not too far away.

  95. I live in southern Germany. What do I like about it...the bakeries, the experience, feeling ten feet tall when I can actually get my point across. I love that we can travel Europe at a fraction of the cost, my son's opportunity to learn a second language, the more casual approach to life.

Thanks for asking this, sometimes I focus on the things I don't like about it...the weather, the small house...

And thanks for spending so much money you have a set up for grabs!

  96. Nadine, I so enjoyed reading about and seeing all your pictures of your trip to Chicago and CHA. I have lived in Knoxville, Tennessee, my entire life. I love this area most for the nearby mountains. We are about an hour away from the Great Smoky Mountains where we love to hike except this summer when it has been so stinking hot and humid. And if we want a change of scenery from the mountains and all our beautiful trees, we're just 6-10 hours away from beaches along the east coast or gulf coast. Thanks for this sweet give away.

  97. Great Chicago pics, looks like you had a blast. Thanks for offering the fun blog candy you have, too, such a cool prize!

  98. Hi, Nadine. I came over via the PTI forum since I'd love to get my hands on the CHA set. The leaves in it are so soft and fluid. Thank you for the chance to win. Wish I could have made it to CHA, but I enjoyed sharing your time with Nichole through your post. You had me tearing up.

I live in the northern part of New Jersey. (To those who only have 'visited' NJ as they drive through on the Turnpike or Parkway, that is not truly the state. Although, most of us are aggressive drivers!) With its true four seasons, NJ offers variety in color and temps. There is movement in the landscape - not from earthquakes, but from hills and valleys. The shore, the city (NYC) and skiing are all short drives away. And we don't have to pump our own gas! If you could reduce the cost of living (It's high.), ask about a third of the population to relocate (It's crowded.), and clean up politics (It's shady.) this would be the perfect place to live. Glad it's home.

  99. I'll be honest, I'd love to get my hands on that CHA set but could never afford the prices that I've seen around for it!
I love your card made from using the set - so sweet and a gorgeous colour combo too!
Now I live in Sheffield, England. The thing I love the most about where we live is that we're on the outskirts of a city and on the border of gorgeous countryside next to a national park so I get to be both a city gal for the shopping, and a country gal for the lovely scenic views!
BTW Dave, you should totally appreciate your sister's talents - she rocks! ;D
    Hugs,

  100. I so wish that I could have met you....I didn't get to make it to CHA this year as we were on vacation but I did have a friend that proxy shopped for me so I already have this wonderful stamp set!

I am from Abilene, Kansas originally and now live in the capitol of Kansas, Topeka! I like Topeka because we are so close to many things....Kansas City, St.Louis, Branson, and other fun places. The fun in this is that you get to see so many new and exciting things all the time....shoppping, places to eat, attractions, etc!

  101. Oh, Nadine you're too funny. You're not bribing us at all...we love you! I'm 'from' the beautiful Pacific Northwest, but currently live in Utah. It's ugly and brown right now, but soon the mountains will be BEAUTIFUL with fall colors. It's amazing to watch the reds, yellows, and oranges creep down the mountains. My husband is color blind, so he misses out on most of the spectacular reds...definitely his loss! Thanks for sharing all of your CHA pictures. Someday when my kids are older I'll be able to sneak away!

  102. You have a great blog.....thanks for sharing your creativity!

I am from SE Minnesota. My favorite part about living here is the having 4 seasons! The weather is always changing. Sometimes more frequently than I would like. :)

  103. Hi Nadine! This is wonderful. You are so sweet to do this, and your brother better realize that. We do all love you.

I am from Boston, Massachusetts. I have left and come back a few times, so I know all the reasons why I love it here so much. First and foremost, my family is here-without them life is lifeless. I love Dunkin Donuts, the way we talk with our accents, fried clams, the Fall leaves, Patriots football, my job at Dana-Farber, and Cape Cod. I could go on for so long, but mainly I love that it's home.

  104. Hi, Nadine! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win such a fab gift! It's really super generous of you. Thank you!!

I live in Safety Harbor, FL, which is in the Tampa Bay area. Family is why I love it here, mostly. I do enjoy the weather (except the humidity that we have right now!) and love being only 1 hr 15 min from Disney. We have 2 girls so Orlando is always a ton of fun!

I loved looking at all your CHA photos and have enjoyed getting to "know" you through the forum! Again, thanks for the opportunity!

  105. You are so sweet to have this giveaway!
I live in Austin, Texas and love the relaxed feel of the whole town. We love to be outside here (when it's not 103 degrees like today) and embrace the artsy, "weird" side of people. In fact, our slogan is "Keep Austin Weird!"
    Mahalo!

  106. I'm a born and raised St. Louis, Missouri, girl! I love that it's not too large of a city with some of the more laid back qualities of the Midwest. The area has a lot of interesting history and we're a great baseball town too--Go Cards!

  107. Where are you from? I Live in Mid-Missouri in a small town called Roscoe. Our address is offically Eldorado Springs since that is where the post office is. What do you like best about living there?
I love living where we are because we are out in the country. In fact I was taking pictures this morning for a scrapbook page that shows the grass growing in the middle of our gravel road in front of our house. Right now the night birds are singing and the cicadas are doing their thing and not a motor sound to be heard. LOVE IT!!!

  108. Hi Nadine -
Well I live in Camarillo, CA - just outside of L.A. and I LOVE it here - great weather, not-too-bad-traffic, and a wonderful small town kinda atmosphere. Close enough to the big city so that if we NEEDED to go there, we could, but more often than not, we stay as close to home as we can :). Wasn't able to get to CHA, and would love the set, but more importantly, I really like your blog and all your crafty cards. :) Thanks for the opportunity to win this set!

  109. Nadine, giving away a CHA set is very kind of you. Thank you for the great chance to win. I did not get to go to CHA so this is fantatic!

I live in beautiful upstate New York near the fantastic Catskill Mountains. I was born and raised in my small town and now I raise my children there with my husband. I love the change of seasons and all the different colors, temperatures and fun that they bring. I can't wait for fall. It is my favorite! Apple pie and all of the colors are just perfect.

    Thanks again Nadine.

  110. Nadine, What a generous surprise. Wow! I wasn't able to attend CHA this year and would love to get my hands on that set.

I was born and still live in Michigan. While our state is having a hard time economically, there aren't many that are more beautiful. We have the change of seasons, city life, country life, flat lands, mountains, hot rods, farm land, amazing forests and of course our spectacular great lakes.

By the way, tell your brother that you are most definately Not a Geek! :)

  111. Nadine - you look like you had an awesome time in Chicago! Good for you. And thanks for the chance to win.

I live in Tucson, AZ. I've lived here for only a year (we were stationed in Germany prior to coming here). And I love it here! I love the year round weather. I love that I'm closer to my parents, who live in Texas. Most of all, I love the beautiful sunsets here.

    Blessings.

    Liliana

PS - I love your cards and your not a Geek! lol

  112. Love all the photos of your trip. Looks like you had a great time too!

I was born and raised here in Denver Colorado and never lived anywhere else. The thing I love the best about living here is the climate, no humidity. I could do without the snow though. :0)

Thanks so much for the chance to win this set that is really generous of you!

  113. Please tell your brother I commented prior to this and not to gain a prize!! just for the 'fun' of connecting:) Anyway I live down under in Australia and love the land, weather & safety we enjoy. Oh, but I have to admit part of my heart now belongs to Hawaii ;)Cheers Denise
