Happy Birthday Ted!

Today is my Papertrey Pal Ted's birthday.  He such's a funny, clever guy on the forum that everyone's half in love with him already {wink}! 

I stamped the background using my Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain stamp (of course, I bought this before I found out that PTI was releasing their very own Woodgrain stamp set). I got the idea for the party hat from Janelle who does amazing things with the Tree Trimming Trio stamp set. I had the hardest time figuring out how to top the party "hat" so that it wouldn't look like a tree.  I finally settled for this.  Next time I think I'll try making a pom-pom or something poofy (but not for Ted's card since he's not a poofy kinda guy). The sentiment is computer generated and hauoli la hanau means happy birthday in Hawaiian (did you guys know that Ted's part-Hawaiian too?).  This post is going out much later than I meant it to, but I hope Ted had a wonderful birthday day!!
