Tinker Toy Button Tree

Today is PTI's Blop Hop and this month Nichole challenged us to use our buttons. You know that big, huge stash that you have decorating your scrap room in pretty jars?  Yes, you actually have to use them.  In a card, craft project, or for home decoration.  I decided to make a button tree. Yes another button tree but not like the last one I did at Christmas (you can see them here).
The tree is made from Tinker Toys that I borrowed from my nephews.  I painted it brown and hung buttons! Voila! I now have a centerpiece for my friends baby shower we're having on Saturday.  I got the idea from here when I googled button crafts.  I also added some teddy bears from Baby Button Bits and die-cut/embossed some butterflies.
Here's a close up of the base.  I stuck the tree in one of those green half-ball foam thingies you can find in the floral department.  I covered it in buttons and  put into a flowerpot I painted brown.  Very easy to put together!
This is a close up of the placecards I made.  Its from the Labels 8 die that I folded in half.  But first I embossed it with the Cuttlebug folder Birds & Swirls.

Thanks for looking and can't wait to see what everyone else has created!
