Winnie and Walter Leading Lady | Take Two

Hi everyone! Im back today with another post for Winnie and Walter using their new stamp set called Stampets: The Gift.  I fell in love with the adorable dog images they included in the set as well as all the fun coordinating images. I just knew I needed to ink up the little chihuahua since my little guy (Apollo) is a long-haired chihuahua. Today's projects are photo cards and will be given as gifts to two of Apollo's doggy friends who we dog-sit for occasionally. I know their parents are going to be thrilled with the pictures and I will include a little doggy treat to go along with them.

This first picture is of my dog Apollo, his friend Paduka, and my daughter at the park. I started the photo card by coloring the dog, hat, and bone image with my Copics.  Then cut those out and put aside. The christmas greetings are from The Big, the Bold, and the Merry which I die cut, stamped, and heat embossed.  When assembling the card, I made sure to place adhesive around three sides of the picture only. This created a pocket in which the picture itself can be slid out after the recipient is done with the card.

I created a tag to go along with the card using the tiny little paw prints included with the set (I told you there were so many fun coordinating images!).  I decided to keep it clean and simple to go along with my colorful and bold card. The sentiment and holly image are from the set Happy Christmas.

This next picture is with Apollo and his friend King. They're hanging out on my bed which is their favorite place to be when not outside barking at the birds, lol.  This photo card uses the hat and bone image from Stampets: The Gift. The sentiment is from Winter Wonderland which I heat embossed and then die cut. Again the photo itself can be slid out from this card. I did this by placing adhesive on the patterned paper around three sides of the photo. The cute santa hats are glued down only on the patterned paper and not the photo itself. This way the recipient can use the picture year round.

I made a coordinating tag to go along with the card. I wanted this tag to be a little more colorful and to include the chihuahua. I stamped the gift box and dog image by using masks and then colored them with Copics. How darling is the little For you tag? They really jam packed the Stampets: The Gift with lots of useful images. The 'with love' sentiment is from the set Happy Christmas.

Not sure you can tell, but I am definitely a dog person!  I just love that Julie and Shay are obviously dog people too since the company is named after their four-legged friends.  If you haven't read it before, you need to check out their About Us page on the Winnie and Walter website. I found it absolutely adorable.

Don't forget that for your chance to win a $30 gift card, leave a comment and I will choose a winner at the end of the month from all the Leading Lady posts. This gives you several chances to enter! If you missed it, here's my first post.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a great week!
