PTI Blog Hop: Card #2

Im back with my 2nd card for PTI's February Blog Hop. This time I used my new set Building Blocks and the Horizontal Cover Plate.

Can you tell I made a boo-boo when stamping the sentiment "beautiful"? It was after I assembled and glued everything down. I hate when that happens! So I stamped it again on a piece of scrap cardstock and covered the smeared line. Good thing that was an easy fix!

Im also submitting this card to:

The Card Concept Challenge #4 - Use a Floral Theme. My style is clean and layering.

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Pretty card, Nadine. Maybe I should have ordered the horizontal cover plate. I thought you were wanting to emphasize the "beautiful" and so you popped it up on cardstock. You gave away a secret :)

  16. First of all, LOVE the card, it's really gorgeous! Second, I do the boo boo cover up ALL the time lol! Seriously, you wouldn't believe how many of my cards have covered up mistakes, I'd venture to say at least half of them do! And last but not least, I love that cover plate, I bought the other two (the diagonal and the vertical one), I haven't used them yet but you've inspired me to get them out and play with them :)
