Today's card uses my new Hexagon dies from MFT. I really love all the Hexagon cards out there and was excited to finally have these dies for my very own. But they're a lot harder to layout than I thought they would be! I can't seem to get that 'quilted' look down so after numerous attempts, I finally decided to go with this graphic design. After die-cutting and assembling the strips, I stamped PTI's Harvest Berries across it. I then popped up the center strip for some dimension and added rhinestones and a button to embellish. Im pretty happy with the way it turned out. Im still going to work on my quilted hexagons though...
Im entering this card into the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteHi Nadine...I am so glad to see you blogging. I was wondering if you were doing okay. I love your card. It is so gorgeous. I like how you stamped the Harvest Berries and then did your thing. Great color selection for the "shoe." Since I have this die coming I really appreciate the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am liking your new blog, too. I posted earlier and thought I double posted and so I deleted it and I ended up with no post at all.
I love the composition of this card!

ReplyDeleteI'm still following your blog, my friend. I know how crazy life can get and blogging seems to be the first thing to get cut. No worries - life comes first. Your card is great - those colors are so awesome together and I like how you stamped the Harvest Berries across the hexies. By the way, I totally want those shoes. I have no idea where I'd wear them but I love them. :)
