The Outlawz CAS challenge: Warm & Fuzzy

It's Sunday and there's a new challenge on at The Outlawz CAS challenge group: use a warm and fuzzy element on your card.
With the arrival of Spring, it's just about time to put away the sweaters, throw blankets & scarves.  But before you do, use them as inspiration for your card this week.
This weeks challenge is to create a CAS card that uses something warm & fuzzy.
(Think felt, pompom trim, yarn...)

I used my Hawaiian Shores felt and die cut a couple of clouds. The "Happy" is also a die cut that I positioned on the left side of the card. Sentiment is from Beautiful Butterflies.

The rainbow colors behind 'Happy' is done with my Copics. I learned the technique from PTI's MIM #58 video which you can see here

Im also entering this card into Papertrey's MIM #58 challenge: Graduated background and Paper Crafts March 2012 Gallery challenge.

This is my last week as March's guest designer for The Outlawz CAS challenges. I'd like to thank Stephanie for asking me and the rest of the team for allowing me to be a part of the team. It's definitely been a pleasure! They have such creative challenges and are a really warm, friendly group. Thank you gals for making me feel so welcome!

  1. Nadine--this is absolutely gorgeous. I need to make one of my own. That background, and the die cut happy are absolutely perfect together--and of course, you found the perfect sentiment.

  6. Love your card, Nadine! I especially like how you used the HAPPY from the M&S: Poppers. Great idea! You should consider sending this card to Papercrafts Mag for publishing. Seriously!
