CPS (Day 11) and PTI 5th Annivesary

This is my second post today. Please scroll down to see my earlier one!

Have you been to Nichole Heady's blog yet? Lot's of announcements and fun prizes for PTI's 5th Anniversary celebration. Today's contest was a color challenge using the DT's favorite color combos.

I chose Melissa Phillips color combo: Autumn Rose, Hibiscus Burst, Simply Chartreuse, and Raspberry Fizz. I decided to go CAS so I could make a set of thank you cards.  I couldn't get a picture of the entire set because it's a bit gusty (and overcast and cold!) today and the cards kept falling over.  (I take my pictures outside on my lanai for the natural lighting.)  These will go in my stash because I always need thank you cards!

Teia and King sleeping
Last week we were watching our friends' dog, King, while they were on a trip. He's a cocker spaniel and very, very lovable. When he comes over he sleeps in bed with the kids (tho' he's not allowed to in his own home!). I took this picture of him and Teia sharing a pillow. When I tried to shoo him away, he just turned into a big puddle of love. He's back with his own family now and we were so sad to have him leave us.

Im entering this card into the following challenges:

  2. Too sweet! Love the dimension of your flower. The flower center is so pretty especially. The textured white layer under the flower really makes the flower pop. Such a crisp anf clean card. Perfection all round.
