CPS 5th Anniversary: Day 6

Edited to add: I've had a couple questions on how Im able to extend the image beyond the die-cut. I used this tutorial that was posted on the Whiff Of Joy blog. There are several tutorials out there, but I've found this the easiest for me with lots of pictures. HTH!

It's Saturday folks! Hope you've got big plans for the weekend or are just taking a much-needed rest day. Im doing both…relaxing this morning at home and then later taking the kiddies to the carnival. The kids should be nice and tired afterwards and go straight to sleep in their carnival-induced coma. Well, that's the plan anyways!

I made today's card for Day 6 of CPS' 5th Anniversary celebration. I had this image of Nobu from Sister Stamps already colored and found the perfect washi background paper to go along with it. So the card came together very quickly with the sketch provided. Love those kind of cards!

Im entering this card into the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you're having a fabulous weekend!
