CPS 5th Anniversary - Day 1

Hi everyone! Today Im sharing a card I made for CPS (Card Positioning System)  5th Anniversary celebration. This is the first of fifteen sketches and I hope to participate in all of them (keeping fingers crossed!). Lots of great prizes to win so be sure to check them out!


The image and sentiment are from PTI's Fly Away set. I colored the airplane with Copics and used Distress Inks to give it a more vintage feel. Im not sure which company the patterned paper is from. Last week I decided to 'whittle' down my patterned paper pile and ruthlessly cut most of them up into 6x6 pieces. I forced myself to give the old, unused ones to my daughter and just kept my favorites.  I've still got tons of paper, but at least now they are the ones I love and will more likely use!
